From February 1 to 3, 2012, Sedeco has been at the ITEXPO that was held at the Miami Convention Center in South Beach.

This traditional exhibition brings together the leading companies from the IT and Telecommunications market. 

There was particular emphasis on the following topics: 

• Cloud Computing 
• IP-PBX (IP Telephony) 
• Unified Communications 
• Online Collaboration 
• Video Conference 
• Mobile Communications 

We have participated in various training tracks, updated our knowledge and interacted with providers and industry colleagues. 

In this sense it was very interesting to note the explosive growth of the implementation of IP telephony systems based on open source in the SMB market. 

This is because traditional phone systems have become obsolete in terms of functionality, flexibility, cost of maintenance and scalability to support the growth of organizations. 

The large consulting firms indicate that the current penetration of IP PBX is 70% in large organizations, and only 15% in the SMB market. 

By 2015, projections indicate that this trend in large companies will reach 85% and 50 to 60% in SMBs.
